The terms every order is made on.

The seller is FASHION ABBIGLIAMENTO S.R.L., registered office Via Gabriele Amico Valenti 24/38, 93100 Caltanissetta (CL), Italy, VAT number 01669570853, entered in the Registro delle Imprese held by the Camera di Commercio di Caltanissetta. Sottile is its trading name.

The buyer is the person placing the order. Where the buyer is a consumer — a natural person acting outside their trade, business or profession — the mandatory provisions of the Italian Codice del Consumo (d.lgs. 206/2005) apply and prevail over anything inconsistent in these terms.

We sell plain-jersey base layers. Each product page states the fabric weight in grams per square metre, the fibre composition in Italian and English, where the fabric was knitted and where the garment was made up, the measured shrinkage with the test conditions, the pilling grade with the test that produced it, and two tables of garment measurements — before and after the first wash.

Those figures are measurements, not promises of performance. We make no health, hygiene or thermal claims about any garment sold here, and nothing we sell is a compression or body-shaping garment. Where we hold no test data for a property, we state nothing about it.

Knitted cotton shrinks and pills. Both are properties of the material, not defects, and both are quantified on the page before you buy.

All prices are shown in United States Dollars (USD) and are the prices that apply at the moment the order is placed. Shipping is added at checkout and shown separately before payment.

• —Italian VAT (IVA) at 22% is included in the price where the sale is subject to it.
• —Orders delivered outside the European Union may attract import duties and local taxes. These are set by the destination country, are not included in our prices, and are collected from you by the carrier on delivery.
• —Standard shipping is free on orders of $89 or more, before tax and after any discount.

Where a discount is announced, the conditions attached to it are stated with the announcement: what it applies to, what it excludes and when it ends.

Where a previous price is shown struck through, that price is the lowest price we applied to that style in the 30 days before the discount, as required by Directive (EU) 2019/2161 as implemented in Italy. If a style has no qualifying price history, no reference price is displayed at all — the page simply shows the current price.

Multipacks and layer sets are priced below the sum of the pieces they contain, and every product page states that sum so the comparison can be checked. That is a bundle price, not a discount against a former price.

• —You put pieces in the cart. Nothing is reserved or charged at this stage.
• —At checkout you give the details needed to deliver the parcel and confirm you have read these terms, the privacy policy and the right of withdrawal. The button to continue stays disabled until every required field is complete.
• —You are then taken to the secure payment page. The contract is concluded when your payment is authorised.
• —We confirm the order by email. That email repeats what you bought, what it cost, where it is going and how to withdraw, and carries your reorder code.

We may decline an order — and will refund any amount taken in full — where a price or specification was published in obvious error, where the piece is not available, or where delivery to the destination is not possible.

We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express and major debit cards. Payment is taken in United States Dollars (USD). Your bank may apply its own conversion rate and fees if your account is held in another currency; those are matters between you and your bank.

Card details are entered on a payment page that is PCI-DSS compliant and served over HTTPS. They are transmitted encrypted directly to the payment provider, and are never received by, displayed to or stored on our servers. We never ask for card details by email or by telephone, and we hold no card data of any kind.

Every purchase on this site is a single one-time payment. There is no subscription, no membership, no stored card, no standing order and no automatic renewal anywhere on this site. A reorder code is a shortcut that fills a basket; it cannot authorise or take a payment and there is nothing to cancel.

We dispatch within two working days of a confirmed payment. The indicative transit times by destination are:

Where no delivery date has been agreed, we deliver without undue delay and in any case within 30 days of the conclusion of the contract, as required by art. 61 of the Codice del Consumo. If we miss that limit you may set an additional reasonable period and, if it also passes, terminate the contract and receive a full refund.

Risk passes to you when the parcel is handed to you or to a carrier you appointed yourself. Full detail, including what to do if a parcel arrives damaged, is on the spedizioni e resi page.

As a consumer you have 14 days from the day you receive the goods to withdraw from the contract without giving any reason. The full procedure, including the standard withdrawal form, is on the diritto di recesso page.

We refund everything you paid, including the standard outbound shipping cost, within 14 days of being told you are withdrawing — though we may hold the refund until the goods reach us or you show they have been sent. Refunds go back to the same payment method you used, at no cost to you.

Two exceptions apply, and both are stated before you buy:

• —Hygiene. Garments worn directly against the skin — the tanks and camisoles in line C, and the sets that contain them — are sealed for hygiene reasons. Once opened and worn they cannot be returned, under art. 59(e) of the Codice del Consumo. Every affected product page says so on the page itself, not only here. Unopened and unworn pieces go back as normal.
• —Partial return of a pack. You may return part of a multipack or a layer set. The refund is calculated on the pack price, not on the individual prices, so the bundle saving is recovered proportionally. Worked example: the Tee 3-Pack 160 costs $92 where the three pieces bought singly would be $102, so each piece carries $30.67 of the pack price. Returning one piece refunds $30.67, not the $34 the piece costs on its own. Return the whole pack and you are refunded the whole $92.

Every garment carries the 2-year legal guarantee of conformity under arts. 128–135 of the Codice del Consumo. For the first year a defect that appears is presumed to have existed at delivery. The remedies, the time limits and how to claim are set out on the garanzia page. Normal wear, damage caused by washing contrary to the stated care instructions, and the shrinkage and pilling published on the product page are not defects.

Orders are accepted for personal use or for use within an organisation. Buying for resale requires our written agreement.

We ship worldwide except where export or import of the goods, or payment from the destination, is prohibited by law or by applicable sanctions. Where a destination is restricted, the order is cancelled and refunded in full.

You may not use this site to attempt fraudulent payments, to test card numbers, to scrape the catalogue at a rate that degrades it for others, or to interfere with its operation.

We are not liable for delay or failure caused by events beyond our reasonable control — carrier disruption, industrial action, customs action, extreme weather or failure of public infrastructure. Where such an event occurs we will tell you, and where the delay is substantial you may cancel and receive a full refund. This clause does not limit any right you have as a consumer under Italian law.
